Next.js App Router with TypeScript. Supabase for auth and PostgreSQL. Cloudflare R2 for object storage. Razorpay for payments. FFmpeg for video processing. Zustand for client-side state.
Users can be both buyers and creators. The UI switches between buyer view and creator view. Each role has its own dashboard, navigation, and workflows. One app with role-aware layouts.
Buyers post jobs with requirements. Creators browse and apply. Buyer selects a creator, creator delivers work, buyer reviews. States: open, assigned, in-progress, delivered, revision-requested, completed, cancelled.
Creators upload video footage. Buyers browse, preview with watermarked previews, and purchase. Purchased videos grant access to original high-quality files. Metadata: tags, categories, resolution, duration, pricing.
Browser chunks large video files, uploads parts concurrently using presigned URLs to Cloudflare R2. Server tracks session state. Upload sessions persist so interrupted uploads resume. Progress tracking on client.
When a video is uploaded: worker generates smart thumbnails by sampling multiple frames and selecting the best candidate, generates watermarked previews, creates resized delivery variants, uploads results back to R2.
Private files accessed through signed URLs with short expiry. Authorization checks: is the user the owner, purchaser, admin, job participant, or message participant? Different files have different access rules.
Razorpay checkout for video purchases and storage upgrades. Server-side order generation. Signature verification. Webhook fallback. Transaction records, platform fees, creator revenue tracking. Duplicate purchase prevention.
Built-in messaging between buyers and creators for job coordination. File sharing through the platform. Messages tied to jobs or direct.
